Education and Training
Dr. Sparks earned her B.S. in Life Science from Kansas State University in 1992, then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1996. She has practiced in the Wichita area ever since, building a reputation for thorough, patient-focused care across all ages and conditions.
She provides both routine and medical eye care, from annual exams and contact lens fittings to managing glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye. If something is going on with your vision or eye health, she wants to understand it fully before recommending a path forward.
Professional Involvement
Dr. Sparks is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kansas Optometric Association. She served as past President of the Wichita Optometric Zone and was appointed by the governor of Kansas to the Kansas Board of Examiners in Optometry, where she currently serves as Secretary-Treasurer. She also serves on the board of the Andover Chamber of Commerce.
These are not honorary titles. They represent an ongoing commitment to raising the standard of eye care in Kansas and giving back to the community she has served for decades.
