In 2016, after years of working in a group practice, Dr. Rebecca Sparks opened Sparks Eye Care on her own. No partners, no corporate playbook, just the kind of care she had always wanted to provide. A cold start from scratch in Andover, Kansas.
Ten years on, the practice still runs the same way. Appointments are not rushed. Your chart is known before you walk in. And if something changes between visits, you can reach us.

Sparks Eye Care cares for patients at every stage of life. We have done a baby's very first eye exam, and we have patients who are well past 100. Families come together because it is easier and because they trust that everyone in the family gets the same careful attention.
